I came in a while ago asking about surface anchors and you said you didn’t do them on minors, which is incredibly reasonable, but I forgot to ask, is that just your rule as a piercer or is that a shop rule? I’m assuming its a shop rule but hey, doesn’t hurt to ask :)

(and just so you know you’re pretty fucking awesome, and you can do your nails better than anyone else I know)

Thanks for the kind words :) honestly, I haven’t done my nails since I got my house, but I will as soon as I get a little more settled in LOL…anyway, it’s pretty much a shop rule…you’d have to convince me that you shouldn’t have to wait for me to do it (which would be almost impossible) or convince one of the other piercers to do it AND have them convince me to go along with it (which is even more unlikely than the first scenario)- I really don’t like doing anchors on ANYONE who isn’t already pretty heavily modified in the first place, as they have a pretty dim long-term viability, and are often quite problematic even in the short term. Now, I’m not saying it’s a total impossibility, but I can’t think of anyone currently who I would feel comfortable doing an anchor on under the age of 18. Thanks so much for being understanding!
